Exceptional touch
Nike Gripknit is a grippy material that improves contact with the ball. It covers more surface area to make it easier for you to control the ball when dribbling at speed or finishing off a shot on goal. The material moulds to the shape of your foot and grips in both wet and dry conditions. It gives a sculpted fit, similar to that of spiked running shoes. The micro-moulded texture and Gripknit material mould to the shape of the foot for even more accurate shots.
Grip and speed
The wave-shaped grip pattern is made up of a series of cascading studs. It engages a larger surface area of the Air Zoom unit and ensures the necessary grip. The largest stud is the same height as our traditional intermediate studs, so grip is not compromised. The wave-like grip has been combined with advanced chevrons and blade-like studs to help you stop when you change direction quickly.
Fitted outfit
The Flyknit upper is designed for speed. Atomknit, an incredibly lightweight and durable Flyknit material on the sides, reduces the weight of the shoe and supports the foot. Gripknit, Atomknit and Flyknit combine to form the thinnest Mercurial upper to date. The shoe makes better contact with the ball and settles more quickly on your foot.
